We’re excited to share that Rathbun Insurance had a blast at the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) Summer Networking Event, hosted at Delta Dental. Our very own Darren Bardell, a NAAIA Board Member, and Kenwon Simpson, an Account Manager and member of the Insuring MI Future Junior Board of Directors, had an amazing time connecting with fellow professionals.

Kenwon’s recent speaking engagement at the Wilson Talent Center Business & Risk Management class, of which he is an alum made a powerful impact, resulting in over 15 students from that class attending the event. It was a fantastic opportunity for these bright students to meet industry professionals and explore careers in insurance, contributing to the ongoing effort to diversify the pipeline with high-quality talent.

The evening was filled with meaningful conversations and the shared excitement of advancing diversity in the insurance industry. It's clear that a great time was had by all, and we’re proud to be part of this incredible initiative. We look forward to continuing our involvement in supporting diverse voices and future leaders in insurance.
