This week the Community Foundation broke ground on Rotary Park downtown, which will be completed by August. The new park will be home to a new kayak launch, a revamped plaza full of colorful furniture, a fireplace, string lighting, festive shade sails and much more. Agency President and Community Foundation board member Paul Rathbun was there for the groundbreaking.
Rotary Park will be the interesting new destination where everyone wants to be. Eateries, kayaking, concerts, picnics, festivals, and much more will energize the park. Rotary Park will be one of the reasons that residents want to stay here and visitors from other cities and other states will want to live and work here, where they experience the sense of community and connectedness.
