We are excited to run a monthly Quotes for a Cause campaign. Each month, our agency will be donating $5 per new business quote to a nonprofit or charitable organization, regardless of whether or not the policy is actually purchased.

For the month of February, we partnered with Downtown Lansing, Inc. to bring a new mural to the Old Town General Store (OTGS)! We were able to stop by this week and present OTGS owner Rhea VanAtta with a check for $500.

Artist Barbara Hranilovich designed one of the first murals in Old Town. The original mural was painted with the assistance of different community members and volunteers. Rhea VanAtta, owner of the Old Town General Store, is working to do something similar and has the great fortune to have the same artist agree to design the new mural. The original mural was painted fifteen years ago.

With so much emphasis on new art installations around Lansing, Rhea thought that revitalizing one of the oldest murals in Lansing would be a wonderful way to bring the community together. Thank you, Rhea!
