Since September 2015, The Rathbun Agency has selected a different non-profit each month as part of our Quotes for a Cause giving campaign. This campaign allows our Agency tomaking a positive impact our own community. At the end of each month, we present that month’s organization with a check for $1,000.  

In May, we are partnering with the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) in support of their 2nd annual scholarship breakfast. The NAAIA JL Tillman Endowed Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to help African-American students further their education in insurance, risk management, business, IT, actuarial science, finance or marketing.  The fund was established by the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) in honor of its founder, Jerald L. Tillman, a successful independent agent in Cincinnati, Ohio.

NAAIA was created to encourage people of color to consider the many different career opportunities in the insurance industry. This scholarship provides the industry another avenue to encourage our nation’s best and brightest to enter our great industry.
