This unforgettable event aimed to reach the ambitious 2024 programming goals for Lansing SAVE, an initiative designed to provide all students in the Lansing School District with savings accounts for their post-secondary education pursuits.
Held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the beautiful Groesbeck Golf Course, the day was filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and a shared commitment to education. The schedule was packed:
- 9:00 am: Registration and Breakfast
- 9:30 am: Mayor's Welcome and Opening Remarks
- 10:00 am: Shotgun Start for the golf tournament
- 3:30 pm: Awards Reception
- 4:00 pm: Mayor's Thank You Address
Ben joined other community leaders and golf enthusiasts in taking a swing at supporting Lansing's future. The funds raised through participation and sponsorship directly increase the impact that Lansing SAVE can make in the lives of Lansing students.
