We are thrilled to congratulate Darren Bardell, one of our dedicated producers at Rathbun Insurance, for being named a recipient of the prestigious 10 Over the Next Ten award by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Lansing 5:01. This annual award celebrates Greater Lansing’s top young professionals who are expected to make significant contributions to the community over the next decade. Winners are chosen based on their professional achievements and community involvement, and Darren exemplifies both.

Darren has been with Rathbun Insurance since 2021 as a licensed property and casualty producer. A Lansing native, Darren brings a wealth of experience in sales and service. His knowledge, dedication, and passion for the industry have made him an invaluable asset to our team.

In addition to his professional success, Darren is deeply committed to serving the community. He is an active member of several organizations, including the Big "I" Michigan Young Agents Committee, the Board of the Detroit/Michigan chapter of the National African American Insurance Association, the For Good Foundation, and an active member of Delta-Waverly Rotary.

Outside of work, Darren enjoys spending time fishing, golfing, and staying active in the Lansing community, demonstrating the importance of balance between professional success and personal passions.

Nominees for the 10 Over the Next Ten award must be 35 years old or younger and have worked in the tri-county region for a minimum of two years. Darren’s recognition is a testament to his hard work, leadership, and dedication to making a positive impact both in the insurance field and throughout Greater Lansing.
