As we close out February’s Insurance Careers Month, we’re proud to celebrate our continued commitment to empowering the next generation of professionals. Today, Producer Heather Cooper-Kim and Account Manager Kim Evans are representing Rathbun Insurance at the Girls’ Dream Fair, hosted by Junior Achievement of Mid Michigan.

For the second year in a row, our team has volunteered at this inspiring event, reinforcing our belief that being there matters most—especially when it comes to shaping the future of young professionals. The JA Girls’ Dream Fair introduces middle school students to the exciting possibilities of STEM careers, providing a platform for young girls to explore fields they may not have previously considered.

This event is designed to ignite curiosity and confidence by connecting students with female professionals in STEM-related fields, including insurance. Through interactive breakout sessions using JA’s "It’s My Future" curriculum, students have the opportunity to ask questions, gain insights, and dream big about their futures.

At Rathbun Insurance, we’re passionate about breaking barriers and broadening horizons—especially in the insurance industry, where opportunities are vast and rewarding. By showing up and sharing our experiences, we hope to inspire young minds to see insurance as not just a job, but a fulfilling career path where they can make a difference.
