All You Ever Wanted to Know About Insurance

We’re Getting Another Mural — This Time Created by Students!

At Rathbun Insurance, we are beyond pumped to share some truly exciting news—this Spring Break, we’re partnering with Muralmatics and Ready Set ASPIRE to bring a student-created mural to life inside our newly renovated office space!

That’s right—another mural! But this time, it’s being imagined and designed by Dustin Hunt and painted by local high school students as part of a week-long mural camp. Our conference room has always been a place for big ideas and meaningful conversations, and now it’s about to be transformed into a space that radiates innovation, inspiration, and inclusion. What better way to reflect our values than with a mural created by the next generation?

Dustin Hunt of Muralmatics will lead the mural camp and guide students through the entire process—from concept development to painting. Muralmatics specializes in creating large-scale indoor and outdoor murals for organizations of all sizes. Their student-centered approach incorporates youth voices and creativity while building problem-solving, artistic, and entrepreneurial skills. The goal? To empower students to become catalysts of change in their communities.

Throughout the week, a group of students will take part in team-building activities, goal-setting, drawing and painting tutorials, mindfulness exercises, and a celebratory closing ceremony. It’s not just about art—it’s about growth, confidence, and connection.

We’re thrilled to be working with Ready Set ASPIRE, an organization dedicated to holistic relationship education and youth empowerment. Formerly known as ASPIRE Relationship Education, Ready Set ASPIRE has been inspiring hope and supporting healthy lives since 2015. Through partnerships with schools, families, and community groups, they help young people understand the importance of healthy relationships with themselves and others. Their team has been instrumental in recruiting and supporting the amazing students bringing this mural to life—ensuring that this project is meaningful and empowering for everyone involved.

Ready Set ASPIRE has worked closely with Dustin Hunt to thoughtfully plan daily lunch and learns as part of the mural camp experience. Each day, students will hear from local leaders in the art and business community who will share valuable lessons learned, offering real-world insight as students consider their futures and potential career paths.

On Wednesday, Rathbun Insurance’s very own CEO, Ben Rathbun, will join the group to present on an often-overlooked topic: how working artists can protect their work, their income, and their future. His session, “What Could Go Wrong?”, will walk students through common risks faced by artists and the importance of building an Insurance Toolkit. It is a powerful reminder that being a working artist isn’t just about creativity—it’s also about sustainability and security.

At Rathbun Insurance, we believe in living out our mission of “Being There Matters Most.” That means thinking creatively about how we support our community, our youth, and our spaces. This mural is more than just decoration—it’s a living symbol of possibility, belonging, and collaboration.

We’re so grateful to Muralmatics and Ready Set ASPIRE for making this vision possible. We can’t wait to share updates as the project unfolds—so stay tuned!

Let’s paint a brighter future, together.
